Your ranch records stay on your phone. The Ranch Smarter app keeps your herd, treatments, notes and photos on your own phone. We don’t see them.

When something does reach our server:

• Website setup. When you use “Set up my ranch,” the information you enter is saved on our server under a 6-digit code so your phone can load it. Anyone with the code can load it, so keep it to yourself. Setups are deleted after 60 days.
• Alerts. If you turn on lock-screen alerts, the app sends our server the reminders it needs to buzz your phone, and the sale barns and prices you asked to watch.
• Ranch crew. If you share with your crew, only what you switch on is shared through our server.
• Forms on this website. Early-access and contact forms send us your name, email and anything you type, so we can reply.

We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone else. Weather comes from Open-Meteo, maps from Esri, and cattle prices from USDA Market News.
